Yosemite accommodation is not actually included this Yosemite 5 Day Tour Only option, this package includes your 5 day entrance fee into the park.

Our Yosemite 5 Day Tour (accommodation optional)is ideal for a quick vacation in the wilderness. This tour from San Francisco is a wonderful way to explore Yosemite National Park, especially explore the places that you wouldn't able to with a tour group! We have up four different places for you stay while you are in Yosemite, for budget travelers the Dorm Room and Tent Cabin are available, the other accommodation is a Hotel Room or the Yosemite Lodge. This tour will provide transport to the park, and then you will depart from the group and meet again the tour guide on your last day of your vacation.

Yosemite Five Day Tour - Day One

6:15 - 7:00 AM
Pick-ups start in Fisherman's Wharf Area and continue in downtown San Francisco.

7:00 - 7:20 AM
West Oakland Bart Station pickup (if necessary).

7:20 - 7:40 AM
Dublin/Pleasanton Bart Station pickup (if necessary).

7:40 - 9:00 AM
Continuing east, see the windmills and descend into the San Joaquin valley and stop for a break and a snack.

9:15 - 11:00 AM
Begin the climb into the foothills, through gold country, and up into the Sierra Nevada range and Yosemite National Park.

11:00 - 1:00 PM
On your Yosemite tour, enjoy the amazing views of the valley, El Capitan, Half Dome, and the Yosemite Falls Enjoy a hike to one of the park's waterfalls or lakes, or relax at the visitor's center where there are museums, restaurants, and the Ansel Adams Gallery.

1:00 - 5:00 PM
Your independence begins. Check out your options, check your bags, and check out Yosemite! And check the YARTS schedule if you are staying outside the Park!

Evening

Check into your accommodation THAT YOU MADE YOURSELF, have dinner, relax, and get a good night's sleep so you can get up early for another exciting day in Yosemite.

Yosemite Five Day Tour - Day Two

Morning

Get up early, and get ready for your second exciting day! Depending on where you are staying, you may have a chance to see the sunrise in Yosemite, so get up, get on the bus if needed, and get started!

Afternoon

You decide! Get some maps, talk to the rangers or the staff at the Village and the Lodge and get some ideas. And check the YARTS schedule if you are staying outside the Park!
IN WINTER: Be prepared to walk on ice and snow - bring warm clothes, waterproof hiking boots, and mittens! Hike the valley, climb to the top of Yosemite Falls, or take the Mist Trail beside the roaring Merced River. (Be careful, and ask Park staff about trail conditions.)

Evening

Return to your hotel, hostel, cabin, or campsite, have dinner, relax, reflect on your exciting day, and get another good night's sleep so you can get up early for another exciting day in Yosemite.

Yosemite Five Day Tour - Day Three

Morning

Get up early, and get ready for your second full day on your own!

Afternoon

Just like day 2, as to where and when you start and end, but you can do another big hike, or climb, or whatever you couldn't fit in on day 2! Remember to check YARTS departure times if you are staying outside the park.
IN WINTER: Be prepared to walk on ice and snow - bring warm clothes, waterproof hiking boots, and mittens! Hike the valley, climb to the top of Yosemite Falls, or take the Mist Trail beside the roaring Merced River. (Be careful, and ask Park staff about trail conditions.)

Evening

Return to your hotel, hostel, cabin, or campsite, have dinner, relax, reflect on your exciting day, and get another good night's sleep so you can get up early for another great day in Yosemite.

Yosemite Five Day Tour - Day Four

Morning

Get up early, and get ready for your second full day on your own!

Afternoon

Just like day 2 or 3, but you can do another big hike, or climb, or relax in the valley. Remember to check YARTS departure times if you are staying outside the park.

Yosemite Five Day Tour - Day Five

7:00 - 8:00 AM

Get up early, check out, grab your bags and get on the bus if needed, and get started!

9:30 - 1:00 PM

Spend the morning in Yosemite on your own. This is a good day to do one or 2 short hikes, like Mirror Lake or Lower Yosemite Falls. Grab a lunch, and get back to Yosemite Lodge.

1:30 - 4:00 PM

Meet your new friends and new driver. Explore more of Yosemite with the group. This includes driving time to take an optional hike in the forest and see the Giant Sequoias. (May be omitted due to snow levels and trail conditions from October to April - we'll spend more time in the Valley instead.)

4:00 - 6:00 PM

Start the return trip, descending from the Sierras, with more great scenery as we follow the sun to the west.

6:00 - 6:30 PM
Stop for a break and a bite to eat.

6:30 - 8:30 PM
Continue back to San Francisco, enjoying views of the sunset over the East Bay hills, or the Peninsula and the city lights.

8:30 - 9:00 PM
The Yosemite tour ends at your San Francisco Hotel front door.
