Yosemite & Giant Sequoias Tour are a more personal way of visiting Yosemite National Park. Yosemite Tours operate with Minibuses and 15-passenger Vans, and cost $129 (+$10 entrance fee) for adults and $109 (+$10 entrance fee) for children.

Yosemite & Giant Sequoias Tour - Tour Information

Our Yosemite tours spend longer in the park than the Yosemite Bus and Yosemite Train tours because it is easier to manage smaller groups while loading, unloading, and in regrouping situations.

Yosemite Bus tours spend about 3.5 hours in Yosemite compared to 5 to 6 hours in our Yosemite tours. Additionally, Yosemite Tours are able to visit certain locations more easily than Yosemite bus tours due to the size difference. Generally Yosemite Tours are able to visit more points of interest in the park than the Yosemite Bus tours or Yosemite Train tour.

All tours visit the Yosemite valley where Half Dome and El Capitan are located but Yosemite Tours usually will visit the Giant Sequoia Grove in addition to the valley.

Yosemite & Giant Sequoias Tour - Tour Schedule

6:15-7:00 AM
Pick-up for your Yosemite tour at your hotel in downtown San Francisco or Fisherman's Wharf area.

7:00-7:20 AM
West Oakland Bart Station pickup.

7:20-7:40 AM
Dublin/Pleasanton Bart Station pickup.

7:40-9:30 AM
Drive through the San Joaquin valley and stop for a break and a snack.

9:30-11:30 AM
Drive through gold country and up into the Sierra Nevada range and Yosemite National Park.

11:30-1:00 PM
Explore Yosemite's many amazing sights with an informative narrated tour from your guide. Be amazed by Bridalveil Falls, El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more! Enjoy a mini-hike and plenty of photo stops around the Yosemite Valley.

1:00-2:30 PM - LUNCH BREAK
Explore on your own and enjoy a hike to one of Yosemite's waterfalls or relax at the visitor's center where there are museums, restaurants, and the Ansel Adams Gallery.

2:30-3:00 PM
Drive to one of the Giant Sequoia groves stopping on the way to get a bird's eye view of the whole valley.

3:00-6:00 PM
Drive down the Sierra Nevadas descending over 2000 ft and passing through Stanislaus National Forest.

6:00-6:30 PM
Stop for a break and a bite to eat.

6:30-8:30 PM
Drive back to San Francisco enjoying views of the sunset over the East Bay hills, the Peninsula and the city lights.

8:30-9:00 PM
The Yosemite tour ends at your San Francisco Hotel front door.

We recommend winter clothing, preferably rubber-soled boots or shoes. Yosemite Tours always does what we can to ensure you, as our customer get the enjoyable experience you expect, but safety is always a "Number 1 Priority" so snow depth, road conditions, detours and construction projects may affect our route and itinerary.

Note: The Giant Sequoias hike on the Yosemite Tour is dependent on trail conditions and snow levels during the period from October to April.
